Twinkle Suzuki Violin (ages 5-7) ~
This is a 2 year program designed for beginning violin students. Based on the teachings of Shinichi Suzuki, the group class works on music reading, ear training, proper position, and playing mechanics. The key to this program is the interaction and involvement between the student, teacher and parent. Parents assist and act as the teacher during daily home practice. Child and parents do not need prior musical experience. After completion of the program, students are ready to move on to more advanced private lessons to further develop their skills.
An early introduction to the violin. Since attention spans are short and fine motor skills are limited at this age, our main focus is to have FUN! An important part of the Suzuki approach is listening. We will listen to recordings of Suzuki music in class and practice music identification skills. We will also work on the proper position, on respect for the instrument, and playing basic open-string songs. Parents assist and act as the teacher during daily home practice.
Italian, French and Russian. This is a unique approach to language learning, using song, role play and incorporating "brain gym exercises". We coordinate classes based on every ones availability. We have excellent native speaking instructors.
Classes are available for any age, private as well as group.
Sing Broadway/Sing Dysney~ (ages variable)

This is another wonderful musical experience where students will learn to accentuate the lyrics through movement while learning good vocal production and stage presence. This class is meant to build confidence and spark creativity.
Mini Maestro Intro to Music ~ (ages 3-6, 6-9)
"Girls Rock Band" Program (ages 9-12) "Boys Rock Band" Program (ages 8-11) ~
A musical adventure with Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear! This class introduces the student to rhythm, percussion and song. This is a fabulous class for pre-schoolers to get a feel and understanding of the different instruments and how they are played (as well as how they sound). It also teaches the child to sing along to music, as well as a wonderful early introduction to our classic greats.
These programs are open to students with some musical instrumental or vocal experience. Taught by Randall Klitz. Classes are held every Friday, 5:30-6:30 Girls Band/ 6:30-7:30 Boys Band.
Music Theory/Advanced Theory
This class is tought by a Berklee College of Music professor. Studying music theory, along with practicing an instrument reinforces the concepts learned during private lessons.
Music theory, when coupled with instrument practice, will provide the student with the skills necessary to understand music better as well as to learn new pieces faster, and with less strain.
Theory lessons will include basic music concepts, reading sheet music, the study of rhythm and much, much more.
Solfeggio ~
A crucial class for those studying vocals, solfeggio is the study of sight singing. This is a pedagogical solmization technique in which the notes of a score are sung using special syllables (in English, the syllables are do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, and ti ). Solfeggio is essential for singers wishing to accurately understand how to sing directly from sheet music, as well as accompanying instrumentalists.
